I am Elsa Zaparart, a naif painter recognized both locally and nationally. My work is born from Tierra del Fuego: its landscapes, its fauna, and the old corrugated iron 'houses' that are part of Fuegian identity.
In addition to painting, I create textile art as part of my creative pursuit. For more than two decades, I have also been designing and making signage with a strong regional imprint; I am the author of the sign 'USHUAIA End of the World.'
My career and works were declared of Provincial Cultural and Artistic Interest by the Legislature of Tierra del Fuego.
